Repeated 911 Calls Leads to Arrest

On Sunday, May 12, 2013 Sgt. Ferreiro and Cpl. Carr were dispatched to Nelson St.for a female later identified as Marilyn Callahan age 66 of Whitehouse Station harassing the police dispatch center with repeated nonemergency issues.

Upon police arrival, they made contact with Callahan on her steps and she began to scream and yell obscenities at the police officers. Callahan was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to HQ for processing. After Callahan was processed, she was returned to her residence.

Later in the day, Callahan once again called the police dispatch center and began to harass the dispatcher with nonemergency issues and profanity. As the above officer responded, Callahan then called theNew JerseyStatePoliceDispatchCenterand began reporting nonemergency issues.

The above officers arrested and charged Callahan with harassment. Callahan will appear in court in the near future for the above charges.
