On October 21, 2013 at approximately 12:35 AM police stopped Kaitlyn Ford, 27, of Staten Island, NY on Route 523 for failing to observe a red traffic signal. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, SFC. DeWire observed suspicious behavior and discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Ford was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of parahernalia, posession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failure to observe traffic signals. Ford was later released, pending a future court appearance.
