On Friday, August 29^th, 2014 at 9:37 pm a Ford pickup truck operated by Hendrik Nijenhuis, 52 of Whitehouse Station was stopped by the Readinton Township Police for operating with three juveniles in the bed, without seatbelts. During the investigation a smell of alcohol was detected and Nijenhuis displayed the signs of intoxication. He was placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to require children to wear seatbelts . Sgt. Ferreiro and Ptl. Brown investigated.
