DWI Arrest- Gesko

On December 21, 2014 at 2232 hours PFC. Serrone stopped Mark T. Gesko, 51 from Whitehouse Station, NJ for several motor vehicle violations on State Route 22 West. During the motor vehicle stop, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage and asked Gesko to attempt field sobriety tests. Gesko was arrested for DWI after he failed the tests. He was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, and failure to use turn signal. He also was charged with resisting arrest after he resisted the arresting officer at headquarters while the officer was attempting to remove handcuffs. He was later released to a friend pending a January Court date.
