On Saturday, March 7, 2015, at approximately 2:00am, Ptm. Mazellan arrested Bonny L. Sommers (age 49) of Raritan Borough, NJ for DWI. Ptlm. Mazellan had been checking Kings Plazza when he observed Sommers Ford Explorer running with its headlights on. While checking on Sommers, the officer detected that the driver had been drinking and requested that she perform field sobriety tests. As a result of her performance on the tests, Sommers was arrested and charged with DUI and Refusal To Submit To Chemical Testing. Sommers was later released from the police station with a future court date.
