On Sunday, July 7, 2015 at approximately 2349 hours Ptl. Mazellan witnessed a Toyota speeding on Rt. 202 by Three Bridges. The driver failed to yield to the emergency police lights and eventually came to a stop on Rt. 12 in Flemington. Sgt. Ferreiro arrived on scene and utilized K-9 Polis to perform an exterior sniff of the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded an amount of marijuana under 50 grams. The driver, Sevda Anderson, 32, of Flemington was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, speeding, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. Anderson was released with a court date.
