Shoplifting Arrest
On Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1957 hours, officers were dispatched to WALMART on Route 22 on a report that a male had just attempted to steal a 55" Samgsung TV. Officers learned that the male had removed the security wrap from the TV and attempted to walk out of the store without paying but was stopped by a manager. The male abandoned the TV at the front door and fled the scene in a taxi. Officers identified the male when they reviewed the security camera footage and reconized the male as Dani Linton, who was arrested a few days earlier in Raritan Township for shoplifting a TV from another WALMART store. Linton, 46, from Flemington, NJ was located at his residence in Flemington and arrested for shoplifting. He was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
