On Thursday, March 10, 2016, at approximately 1102 hours, Sgt. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle on Rt. 523 near Halls Mill Rd for the passenger littering. The vehicle was operated by Ryan StClair, age 33 of Cambridge, OH and occupied by Kareem S. Reddick, age 31 of Lancaster, OH, front seat passenger. During the motor vehicle investigation, the officer had his canine partner Polis conduct a sniff of the vehicle. Polis gave a positive indication for the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicle by the officer revealed under fifty grams of marijuana. Both individuals were placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. StClair was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle in possession of CDS. Reddick was charged with possession of under fifty grams of marijuana and littering from a motor vehicle. Both individuals were released from police custody pending a future court appearance.
