Due to the growing mobile marketplace, the Readington Township Police Department is joing in the efforts in providing a safer communityto the residents and promoting the security of offline transactions.

The Readington Township Police Department has dedicated a portion of our parking lot as an "Internet Purchase Exchange Location." Our parking lot is under constant video surveillance. We suggest pulling into the parking lot in front of the Police Department near the handicap parking area. There is a green sign which states "Internet Exchange Locating" in that location. Feel free to use that location to meet with people to exchange internet purchases. This is to make all parties involved safer. It is not required to notify the Police Department of any planned exchanges. If you choose to notify the Police Department of your transaction, the description of yourself and your vehicle to assist in our monitoring.
