A Saxton Lane resident reported that his car was stolen from his driveway during the overnight hours between July 3-4. The resident's other vehicles had also been entered by the offender. This incident was one of a few car burglaries and thefts from the area during the week. The Readington Twp. Police would like to remind all citizens to lock their car doors when at home and to remove the keys from their vehicles. Valuables should also be taken inside and not left in plain view.
