On Wednesday, September 04, 2019 at approximately 1415 hours, Lt. Crater, Sfc. Ferreiro and Ptl. Woolverton were dispatched to the parking lot of the Siesta Motel for a disorderly male on the Link Bus. The male was identified as Rodger Edwards of Whitehouse Sta., NJ. Edwards was screaming profanity, spitting on the floor of the bus and he was extremely intoxicated. Edwards was located at the motel and he was placed under arrest for obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. Edwards was charged accordingly and released from police custody pending a future court appearance. The filing of criminal charges is merely on step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
