On Friday, December 27, 2019 at approximately 2246 hours, Sgt. Heycock observed a vehicle parked in a field off Thor Solberg Rd. While checking on the driver the officer observed Robert Saja (62) out of Milford, NJ passed out in the driver seat. Saja had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath and failed the officers Field Sobriety Tests. Saja was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and issued a careless driving ticket. "The Filing of Criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
