FINGERPRINTING

Due to changes imposed by The State of New Jersey, the police department will, in most cases, no longer  fingerprint civilians.   Township residents will be fingerprinted when required to volunteer within the township, for employment purposes (when forms are provided by the prospective employer) and for Megan's Law Registration.

Fingerprinting is conducted between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.  No appointment is needed. If you do not bring forms provided to you by the requesting party,  we can not fingerprint you. If you have any questions regarding fingerprinting eligibility, please call 908-534-4031

If fingerprinting is needed for Firearms Purchaser Identification Card and/or Handgun Purchase Permit, forms can be downloaded at:

NJSP Firearms Forms

If you need to be fingerprinted for any other reason, IdentoGO is contracted by the State of New Jersey to provide fingerprinting services.  Please go to IdentoGO to make an appointment.  You may also contact IdentoGO at 877-503-5981

 CAR SEAT INSPECTIONS

Motor vehicle crashes are the number one cause of deaths of children over the age of six months in the United States. The proper use of child car seats is one of simplest and most effective methods available for protecting the lives of our children in the event of a motor vehicle crash. Only the correct use of child car seats will offer the protection that children need.
