Speeding while DUI leads to arrest.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at approximately 2344 hours, Patrolman Wester was patrolling in the area of Route 202 South when a Nissan Infiniti driven by Mongtuyen Phan, 25 of Flanders, NJ past him at a high rate of speed. He stopped the vehicle on Rt. 202 north near Chubb Way in Branchburg Twp.
During the Ptl. Wester's interaction with Phan he detected the strong odor of alcohol from Phan's person. Phan performed Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was subsequently arrested for DWI. Phan was issued three summonses for DWI, Speeding, Tailgating and was given a mandatory court date, and released.
