2 Arrested for possession of heroin

On July 9, 2013 Ptl. Rindock stopped a motor vehicle on Route 22 for Failing to maintain vehicular travel in the right lane and failure to use a turn signal.

After making contact with the driver (Gregory Holman 42, of Allentown Pennsylvania) and the passenger (Gregory Lamont 36, of Allentown Pennsylvania) a check of their drivers licenses revealed that they were both wanted persons. Gregory Holman was wanted out of New Jersey for failing to pay fines in Union County. Gregory Lamont was wanted out of Union County New Jersey for failure to pay child support, and wanted out of Maryland for flight on a CDS charge.

Ptl. Rindock later searched the vehicle that Holman and Lamont were driving, which revealed 2,750 decks (bags) of heroin or 55 bricks located in the trunk of the car. The 2,750 decks of heroin have a street value of $25,000.00. Lamont and Holman were later charged with possession of Heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and being a fugitive from justice. Holman and Lamont are being held at the Hunterdon County Jail on $200,000 bail.
