DUI Arrest
On Friday, November 1, 2013 at approximately 0124 hours, Sgt. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a vehicle for failure to keep right on Pulaski Rd. near Suydam St. The vehicle was operated by Joseph Libero 23 of Flemington, NJ. During the interaction the officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Libreo. The officer also noticed that Libero displayed signs of intoxication. The officer requested that Libero perform a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which Libero refused. Libero was arrested for DWI and charged with the following: DWI, Refusal to submit to breath testing, failure to pull over for an emergency vehicle, failure to keep right, and failure to exhibit his driver's license. Libero was released from police custody to a sober adult and a future pending court appearance.
