On December 30, 2013 at approximately 1800 hours, our department was dispatched to Route 523 and Route 620 for a report of a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Ptl. Brown arrived on scene and discovered 4 vehicles involved in the accident with 2 injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle, Gabor Horvath, age 50 of Whitehouse Station admitted to consuming alcohol and failed several field sobriety tests. Horvath was arrested and processed at headquarters. Horvath was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Careless Driving. Horvath was released pending a future court date.
