DUI Arrest
On Monday, May 19, 2014, at approximately 2215 hours, Ptl. Colline was patrolling Route 523 in the area of Mountain Road. Ptl. Colline noticed a vehicle traveling with a headlight out southbound. A motor vehicle stop was conducted. While speaking with the driver, Joseph Dolan, Ptl. Colline detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle.
Dolan told Ptl. Colline he had not been
drinking; however, Field Sobriety Tests proved otherwise. Dolan
was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. While
searching Dolan's person. Ptl. Colline located a bag of marijuana
in his pocket.
Joseph Dolan was issued summonses for
Driving While Intoxicated (39:4-50), Maintenance of Lamps
(39:3-66), Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle (39:4-49.1), and
Possession of Under 50g of Marijuana
(2C:35-10a(4)).
