On May 19, 2014 at approximately 2312 hours, patrol was dispatched to the area of Bishops Plaza for a pole fire. A passerby riding his bicycle was looking up at the sky when he noticed the flames from the top of a utility pole. Police and the Whitehouse Fire Department (Station 22) responded to the scene. The right lane of Route 22 was temporarily closed for approximately one hour until JCP&L arrived.
