Concealed Cocaine
On May 31, 2014 at 0157 hrs, Sgt DeWire stopped a vehicle on
Oldwick Road for erratic driving. The driver, Maneca Luke of
York, PA indicated that she was not familiar with area and her
GPS was not working properly. Officers made several observations
that led them to believe that the driver and her three occupants
were engaging in illegal activity. A search of the vehicle was
conducted and hypodermic needles were located. Jennifer Keller,
19, of Gettysburg, PA was arrested and transported to police HQ.
Once there, Sgt Dewire developed reasons to believe Keller was
hiding illegal contraband on or in her body. He soon discovered
that Keller possessed approximately 300 grams of cocaine, which
she had concealed in a body cavity. She was charged with
possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to
distribute and possession of hypodermic needles. She was lodged
in the Hunterdon County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
