Sportbike crash

On Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1310 hours, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mountain Road and Railroad Avenue on a report of a vehicle fire involving at least one victim. Officers arrived and discovered that Anthony R. Robertson (25) from Washington, NJ had lost control of his 2008 Suzuki GSXR600 sprortbike and crashed just south of the intersection. Robertson was thrown from the bike as it crashed into a landscape boulder and burst into flames. Robertson, who was suffering from a serious leg injury, was treated by Officers and members of the Whitehouse Rescue Squad. He was soon flown to Robert Wood Johnson Memorial Hospital by a New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit and treated for his injuries. Patrolman First Class Steven Rindock is investigating the cause of the crash. At this time, no charges have been filed.
