Disobaying driver's duty to move left to emergency vehicles leads to charges for New York man.

On Sunday, August 31st, 2014 at 1030 pm, a vehicle operated by Nicole Mccagg 34, of Hudson, NY was stopped on US Route 22 near Potterstown road for failure to yield or move left passing an emergency vehicle. During the traffic stop an odor of marijuana was detected and Mccagg consented to a search of the vehicle. A small amount of synthetic marijuana was located and Mccagg stated she had no knowledge of the drugs and they belonged to the vehicle owner Robert Simmons, 36, of Catskill, NY. Simmons was contacted and admitted to possession of the drugs. He was subsequently charged with possession of synthetic marijuana. Patrolman Brown investigated.
