1 September 2014 at about 1030 hrs. The Readington Township Police responded to the Siesta Motel for a disturbance. Police discovered that Donna Kinney a transient person staying at the motel, was kicking a soda machine yelling profanities and verbally confronting other occupants. She was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. She was taken to the police department and released. She was taken back to the motel and within 15 minutes was again yelling profanities and verbally confronting other occupants of the motel. She was arrested again for disorderly conduct and lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail pending $1,500 w/10% bail.

Matthew Webster, Ms. Kinney's roommate was also arrested for providing a false name during the initial investigation, thinking that he had a warrant for his arrest. He was charged and released. No warrant for his arrest was discovered.
