On September 14, 2014, at 12:38am Ptl. Wright located a vehicle that was parked outside a residence on Pulaski Road, partially parked in the roadway. Ptl. Wright spoke to the occupant, Shaun Ervin, age 34 of Northhampton PA to check on his welfare. During the interaction, Ptl. Wright learned that Ervin was wearing an empty gun holster on his hip. A check of the vehicle, found a handgun in the center console and a loaded magazine. Ervin was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun without first obtaining a permit in the State of New Jersey. He was later released pending a future court appearance.
