On Sunday, September 21, 2014 at approximately 1925 hours the Readington Township Police Department was dispatched to Route 523 South in the area of Barley Sheaf Road. A third party had reported an intoxicated driver and provided dispatch with a description of the vehicle and its registration. The vehicle was located on River Avenue in Raritan Township. PFC. Wester made contact with the driver Cesar Cortes-Mata, 27, of Flemington. During his interaction with Cortes-Mata, PFC. Wester detected the odor of alcohol. Cortes-Mata failed the Standardized Field Sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI
