DUI Arrest
On January 3, 2015, at approximately 1:35am, Cpl. Carr observed a vehicle traveling on Route 22 in the area of Oldwick Road traveling at a high rate of speed. As the Corporal began to monitor the vehicle, he observed that the driver was unable to maintain its lane of travel. Cpl. Carr stopped the vehicle, operated by Matthew Bruno (age 29) of Plainfield. Bruno failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. After Bruno was processed, he was issued tickets for DUI, failure to maintain lanes, expired license, driving while suspended. Bruno was released to a sober adult and will appear in court to answer to the pending charges.
