On May 3, 2015, at approximately 0029 hours, Ptl. Mazellan stopped a vehicle on Route 22 by County Line Rd for failing to maintain lane. The vehicle was operated by a Verine Dande age 19 of North Brunswick, NJ. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed under 50 grams of marijuana. Dande was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and failing to maintain lane. After processing, Dande was released from police custody pending a future court appearance
