On Tuesday, May 26, 2015, Sgt. Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle on HWY 28 for an equipment violation. During the investigation, the officer had his canine partner conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle. A later search of the vehicle, by the officer and his canine partner yielded Heroin and 25 hypodermic needles used for illegal narcotics. Sarah Fabrizio (21) of Rockaway, NJ took ownership of the items located inside the vehicle. Sarah was charged with possession of Heroin and possession of hypodermic needles. Sarah was later released from police custody pending a future court appearance.
