On Sunday, May 31, 2015 at approximately 0203 hours, Sgt. Carlos Ferreiro stopped a motor vehicle for swerving on Rt. 22 east near County Line Rd. The vehicle was operated by Lauren Tullo, 35, of Bridgewater, NJ. During the motor vehicle stop Tullo displayed signs of nervousness. The officer had his canine partner conduct a sniff of the vehicle for narcotics. A later search of the vehicle yielded 12 bags of heroin and three hypodermic needles. Tullo was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles, failure to maintain lane and operating a motor vehicle in possession of CDS. Tullo was released from police custody pending a future court appearance.
