Assault = Warrant Arrests
On August 22, 2015, a Richard Kuba responded to police HQ to report an assault that had occurred at his place of employment. Mr. Kuba alleged that Robert Ward, 32, of Readington Township pushed him several times while they worked at a Repair Shop, located on State Hwy 22 East in Readington Township. Mr. Kuba did not want to sign criminal complaints however he did request that police escort him to the repair shop so he could return property without fear of being assaulted again. Prior to there arrival, Ptl. Griffiths discovered that Mr. Ward had a criminal warrant out of Hunterdon County and motor vehicle warrants out of Readington Township and Bridgewater Township. Mr. Ward was arrested at his home and lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail to await a mandatory court appearance.
