Incident: Shoplifting/CDS - Walgreens

On Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at 2200 Hrs, Ptl. Jason Phares was dispatched to Walgreens on State Hwy 22 for a shoplifting incident. During the course of the investigation, Ptl. Tiger of the Clinton Twp Police Department stopped a vehicle on State Hwy 31 during an unrelated traffic incident and discovered that the vehicle was possibly related to the shoplifting that occurred in Readington Twp. It was confirmed that the vehicle and driver matched those seen on security camera footage. As a result, Dudley Dorival of Ewing, NJ was arrested. Dorival was charged with shoplifting, receiving stolen property, possession of burglar tools, possession of CDS (heroin), possession of hypodermic needles, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dorival was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
