Urinating in public leads to six arrests
On Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 0146 hours, Patrolman Woolverton observed a Toyota minivan in the Exxon Lot at the intersection of Route 22 and Oldwick Road. When he stopped to check on the vehicle he observed two men urinating in the parking lot near the vehicle. (Daniel L. Deloach, 37, from Norfolk VA and Michael K. Frederick, 27, from Bronx NY). While speaking to other occupants of the vehicle, Patrolman Woolverton detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A computer check located that Deloach had a warrant for his arrest out of East Rutherford NJ. Deloach was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine and a glass pipe. He was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deloach was lodged in the Huntderdon County Jail.
A computer check located two warrants for Frederick's arrest out of Homdel and East Rutherford NJ. He was arrested and lodged in the Bergen County Jail.
Passenger, Jazmel Johnson , 30, from Bronx NY was found to be in possession of marijuana and a grinder. He also gave officers a false name. He was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and hindering. Johnson was released pending municipal court.
Passenger, Stephen Jones, 23, from Bronx NY was found to be in possession of marijuana and small plastic baggies. He was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones was released pending municipal court.
Passenger, Courtney Simmons, 30, from Bronx NY was found to be in possession of marijuana. He also gave officers a false name and had a warrant for his arrest out of East Rutherford NJ. He was lodged in the Bergen County Jail.
Passenger, Donald H. Gardner, 29, from Bronx NY was found to have a traffic warrant for his arrest out of Woodbridge NJ. He posted bail and was released pending court.
