On Sunday, February 07, 2016, at approximately 0946 hours Ptl. Mazellan performed a motor vehicle stop on a black Ford Mustang for front window tint on Rt. 202. During the motor vehicle stop the officer observed a male in the rear passenger seat. The officer requested his identification to which he stated he did not have any ID on him. The male provided the officer a name and date of birth, which turned out to be a false name. Eventually the male, now identified as Justin Isaac Zayas of Perth Amboy informed police of his real name. Zayas was later discovered to have a warrant out of East Brunswick, NJ. Zayas was arrested for Hindering an Investigation and posted his full cash bail. He was released from police custody with a complaint summons and a future court date.
