On Monday March 7, 2016 Readington Police Department responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on 22 West near the intersection of Route 523. It appears that the driver (Donna Ray 63, Phillipsburg NJ) suffered a medical emergency while traveling East on Route 22 and crossed over into the westbound lane of 22 and struck a utility pole. After striking the utility the vehicle overturned, trapping the driver inside. The driver suffered none life threatening injuries and was flown to Morristown Hospital.
