SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

On September 24th at 1000 AM, police were called to check on a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the Peapack Gladstone Bank. Ptl. Phares located the vehicle and after speaking with the occupants, suspected criminal activity. Sgt Ferreiro and K-9 Polis were called to the scene to assist. K-9 Polis alerted to presence of drugs in the vehicle and a search was conducted. Several kinds of drugs were located and the occupants were arrested. Christopher Tirado, 31, of New York, NY and Nicholas Fusco, 30, of Mineola, NY was charged with possession of Ambien without a valid prescription, possession of Clonazepam without a valid prescription, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Hunterdon County Jail in default of $75,000 bail. Sgt. DeWire and Ptl. Medvetz assisted.
