On November 18, 2017 at approximately 1940 hours, Ptl. Serrone stopped Michael McCrystal from Flemington, NJ for traveling 83 M.P.H in a posted 55 M.P.H zone on Route 31 south. Ptl. Serrone smelled a strong odor of an alcohlic beverage emanating from McCrystal's breath and asked him to exit the vehicle and conduct field sobriety tests. McCrystal failed the officers tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. McCrystal was transported to the Readington Township Police Department where he refused to submit to breath tests and was issued the following summons; DWI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Test, Speeding, Failure to Maintain Lane and Reckless Driving.
