Theft

On December 19th, 2017 at approximately 11:10 AM, police were called to Readington Middle School for a theft. Staff members reported that an employee was seen removing an item from the school and placing it in his personal vehicle. The item, a box of candy valued at approximately $50, was a wrapped Christmas gift that did not belong to the employee. The box of candy was turned over to police and returned to the school. Peter Marro, 56, of Flemington, NJ was arrested and charged with theft of moveable property. He was released without bail on the condition that he appear in Readington Municipal Court in the future.
