MV stop leads to Drug Arrests

On Monday July 2, 2018 Ptl. Darocha stopped a motor vehicle on Route 523 for maintenance of lamps. While speaking to the driver the officer observed that the two passengers appeared to be under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. A consent search was granted and the rear seat passenger Renee Lowlicht (25) out of South Plainfield was arrested on a $500.00 criminal warrant out of North Plainfield Municipal Court and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Clinton Twp Police officer Jen Petruzziello assisted with the search and located the mariujuana concealed under Lowlicht shirt. The front seat passenger Christopher Peerseen (30) out of South Plainfield was arrested for possession of Heroin and was lodged at the Hunterdon County Jail and the North Plainfield Police took custody of Lowlicht.
