DWI Arrest

On Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at approximately 2147 hours, Ptl. Brown stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. (Whitehouse Sta.) and Somerset St. that was called in by other motorist as a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was operated by Anne Mascuch of Lebanon, NJ. During the motor vehicle investigation the officer detected and odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Mascuch. The officer had Mascuch perform Standardized Field Sobriety Test, which she failed. Mascuch was placed under arrest for DWI. Mascuch was transported to police headquarters, processed and charged as follows: fail to yield to an emergency vehicle, fail to maintain lane, reckless driving and DWI. Mascuch was released to from police custody to a sober adult pending a future court appearance. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
