On December 12, 2018 at approximately 0022 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane on Route 22 near Potterstown Road. Upon making contact with the driver, Stephen Warner, he admitted to consuming alcohol. Upon further investigation, Warner failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Warner was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses including DWI, Careless Driving, and failure to maintain lane. Warner was released pending a future court date. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
