DWI arrest

On Sunday, January 13, 2019 at approximately 2103 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a vehicle for failure to maintain lane on Rt. 523 south near Rt. 620. The vehicle was operated by Jameson Dunne of Hillsborough, NJ. During the investigation the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Dunne. The officer had Dunne perform Standardized Field Sobriety Test, which he failed. Dunne was arrested and charged with the following: DWI, failure to maintain lane and careless driving. Dunne was released from police custody to a sober adult pending a future court appearance. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
