Obstruction Arrest

On Thursday, January 17, 2018 at approximately 1820 hours, the Readington Township Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked partially in the lawn of a residence at the corner of Dreahook Rd. and Horseshoe Rd. Upon arrival, Ptl. Darocha and Sgt. Heycock observed the vehicle parked with its lights off on the side of Dreahook Rd. and on the lawn of a residence. The driver Elvin Negron (48) out of Old Bridge, NJ was asked several times to exit the vehicle and was subsequently arrested for obstruction of justice. "The Filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
