On Thursday, January 17, 2018 at approximately 0112 hours, Ptl. Darocha stopped Carla Lansing (46) out of Morristown, NJ for a motor vehicle violation on Route 202. Ptl. Darocha learned that Lansing was driving while suspended and had two active traffic warrants. The traffic warrants were out of two different municipalities for a total of $1800.00. Lansing was taken into custody and was later released after her bail was posted. Lansing was issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended and failure to maintain lamps. "The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
