DWI - Cervantes-Maceda
On Sunday, February 23, 2019 at 0300 hours, Patrolman Patrick Brown arrested Alex Cervantes-Maceda, from Whitehouse, NJ. During a motor vehicle stop for traffic violations, he displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for DWI after he was unable to perform several field sobriety tests. Cervantes-Maceda was issued citations for careless driving, driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated. All of the charges had a mandatory first appearance in the Readington Township Municipal Court. . He was released to a third party pending Municipal Court. The filing of criminal charges is merley one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
