On Friday, February 8, 2019 at approximately 2331 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a motor vehicle on Rt. 202 south and near River Ave., for failure to maintain lane. The vehicle was operated by Matthew Kiselica of Irving, TX. During the motor vehicle stop the officer detected the odor of alcohol coming from Kiselica. The officer had Kiselica perform SFST's, which he failed. Kiselica was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Kiselica was charged with DWI, failure to maintain lane and careless driving. Kiselica was released to a sober adult pending a future court appearance. The filing of charges is a merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
