On February 17, 2019 at approximately 0105 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a Ford pickup truck on Route 523 near Barley Sheaf Road. The driver, Carlos Hernandez- Escobar, was found to have consumed alcohol and failed several sobriety tests. Hernandez- Escobar was arrested and processed at headquarters. Hernandez- Escobar was issued motor vehicle summonses for DWI, failure to maintain lane, failure to observe a stop sign, and careless driving. Hernandez-Escobar was released pending a future court date. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
