On Monday, February 18, 2019 Patrolman Brown arrested John M. Brnjas, 36, from Annandale, NJ during a motor vehicle stop on Pulaski Road. During a search of his vehicle, the patrolman located marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open beer can. At headquarters, Brnjas was processed. He was issued citations for driving while suspended, open container and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was issued a summons for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was released from headquarters pending his mandatory appearance in the Readington Township Municipal Court.

The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
