On Tuesday, February 12, 2019 Patrolman Brown arrested Dina D. Phillips, 34, from Flemington, NJ. The day before, the patrolman was dispatched to investigate a reported theft of medication from a local business. Patrolman Brown was able to identify the suspect as Phillips and recovered some of the stolen items at her home.

At headquarters, she was fingerprinted and processed. She was charged with shoplifting and released with a summons to appear in the Readington Township Municipal Court.
