On Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 0221 hours, Patrolman Brown arrested Antoine Rashard Ingram, 32, from Brooklyn, NY during a motor vehicle stop on County Road Route 523. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana. While searching the vehicle, the officer located marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

At headquarters Ingram was processed and fingerprinted. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was issued motor vehicle citations for failure to maintain lane, unlicensed driver and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. All charges had a first appearance in the Readington Township Municipal Court.

The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
