On April 12, 2019 at approximately 2330 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a gray Jeep Wrangler on Route 523 near Barley Sheaf Road for failure to maintain its lane. The driver, Jasmine Parra, admitted to consuming alcohol and showed signs of intoxication. Parra failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. Parra was processed at headquarters and issued motor vehicle summonses for DWI, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. Parra was released pending a future court date. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
